Are You Fully Charged?

Good morning!! It's your day! Time to get your shine on! Your life was designed before you were born, but it's up to you whether or not you achieve the fullest God has planned for you. If you're struggling with where you are, or where you're supposed to be, quick little tip - spend time in prayer! Listen! Then act!  Prayer is the key that unlocks so many mysteries. But it's more than just a routine prayer - you must really get plugged in and spend some time getting "charged."  Your cell phone battery doesn't get fully charged after 5 minutes on the charger. It must be plugged in for extended periods of time to get fully charged. Same with your needs - you won't get them met with only routine 5 minute canned prayers.

You know what to do next....GO! Be awesome and make memories and make today count, for today will never come again! Have a blessed day!!

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty King of Kings and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Do something kind today, be nice to others, and respect those you interact with. Strive to make a difference in others lives, but more importantly make a difference in your own life. Life is messy...thank God for Bounty paper towels, Grace & Mercy!
"Pretty words aren't always true...and true words aren't always pretty, but when the truth is spoken, it's always beautiful!"
"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

Make memories and make today count for today will never come again. GO! Be the awesome person God designed you to be! Have a blessed day!

Happy Thanksgiving...

I love Thanksgiving! I have SO MUCH to be thankful for, and so do you. As we celebrate this day please know that being thankful is so much more than just a simple gesture of kindness, or part of daily conversation, or routines, with friends and family. It's being genuinely thankful for all we have. It's loving and appreciating the good, the bad, the scary - the middle! It's giving hugs and really taking time to appreciate all we have. After all, we each have indescribable gifts we owe Him thanks for.

Please know Ryan, Alexis and I wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving and we pray today is so much more than just turkey and dressing! May you have love, peace and abundant blessings! Thank you for being a part of our journey!

From our family to yours.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! 🦃😂🍁🍽

"Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!"
(‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭9:15‬)

What Are You Thankful For?

God has a perfect timing for everything. Learning to wait on Him brings Him honor and you peace.

"Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" - Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭14‬

You are your only roadblock! Detours are not show-stoppers, they simply are designed to either get you back on the right track or put you on a better course to achieve your goals...

I woke this morning saying, "Thank you, Lord, for another day...another chance...another blessing & opportunity to BE a blessing to someone else today!" I have sooo many reasons to be thankful, starting with this precious lil angel that calls me Mommy! Her innocent smile reminds me just how lucky I am to be alive! Remember, a beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. When you wake up, take a second to think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive & healthy. The moment we start acting like life is a blessing (I assure you) it will start to feel like one!

GO! Show the world just how amazing you really are!! Have a beautifully blessed day!! '''Tis the season to be thankful!

Do Your Actions Reflect Your Heart?

Good morning!!

You all know my philosophy by now.... if you're going to rise, you might as well shine! ☀️

What do others see when others look at you?
Do you wear a 'Spiritual wardrobe?' Where is your heart? Are you living to lift others up or break them down? Are you living to the fullest?

"Strength and honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: "Many daughters have done well, But you excel them all." Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates." (Proverbs‬ ‭31:25-31‬)

I personally reflect on these questions often. My hearts desire is that when others look at me, I want them to see a kind heart, a loving and forgiving heart, but I want them to see a strong and independent Godly "Proverbs 31 Woman." One after God's own heart and not just one surviving to get through my days. I strive to be a loving wife, moody that sets the correct examples, cheerful giver, caring sister, daughter, aunt, and great friend. I want to be more than I was the day before. I want to lift others and help them be as successful as they desire. But, more than anything, I want others to see Christ in me. All that I am, all that I do, I want it to be to glorify Christ.

Today is simply a stepping stone to the next day or to eternity. I am far from perfect, and I know I have flaws, but what I do about them separates me from who I was yesterday and who I will be tomorrow.

Take a step back, reflect on who you are and how others see you. Then ask yourself, "is this really who I want to be?"  If it's not, call me. I'd love to pray with you. I'd love to help you get to the next level in your journey without compromising your integrity or staying stuck in a place that is dark and lonely. Whatever your dreams are, dream bigger! God declared that we are to be the head and not the tail.

"And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them." (‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:13‬)

There is so much more waiting on you .... You just have to take that first step - it's always the hardest, but the most rewarding part of your journey is just ahead, waiting on you!

Remember, as I wrote before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty King of King and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Prayers For Our Future....

Good morning my dear family, friends and blog followers:

I have to say, admittedly, at the beginning of last night I was not convinced the election would turn out the way it did. I am very glad it did, but I might have been a little bit of a "doubting Thomas" going into it...

Regardless, of whether your candidate won or not, I pray everyone will remember that we are all Americans that exercised our rights to vote, based on our own personal beliefs, and no one should be criticized, unfriended on social media, etc. Truth is, we have got to get back to "One Nation Under God" and stop letting the [so called] news dictate our actions and fears.

"Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." (Philippians‬ ‭2:3-4‬)‬‬

Thankfully not all of us are called to be political servants. The majority of us will never hold office, but still we have a very important role to play. We must continue to pray, specifically for the next four years.

Many continue to say, with this election, we have most definitely seen history made. I do not disagree; however, in the aftermath of this election, we must continue to pray, and pray with continued discernment.  In my opinion, reality is, it's not over.....it's just beginning!

I've listed several scriptures below for you to look up and bind with me in prayer for our newly elected President and his staff.

II Kings 13:16 - Pray that the Lord would put His hands on the the president (and his team) and guide them in the next four years.

Proverbs 1:5-7 - Pray that this man will listen with discernment, add to his knowledge, and receive wise counsel.

John 16:33 - Pray that this man would be given wisdom and ability from the Lord to overcome any obstacle or difficulty during these next four years.

Proverbs 21:23 - Pray that this man will be careful to not allow his words to cause damage and he will seek counsel before he speaks.

Philippians 4:13 - Pray that the Lord's choice for President will have special strength and unusual ability from God.

Psalm 18:32-36 - Pray that the Lord would arm this man with strength; would guide him in battle (after the election); and would sustain him and give him victory.

Hebrews 11:32-34 – Pray that this man, through faith, persevere and maintain his courage throughout the next four years.

2 Corinthians 12:9 – Pray that the Lord would empower and enable this man in any area of weakness.

Habakkuk 1:5 and 3:2 - Pray that the Lord will do something that would utterly amaze us and give His servant victory.

Ephesians 5:15-17 - Pray that he will be very cautious in his actions and that he will seek the Lord's counsel before he makes any move.

One of the greatest things that came out of the last eight (8) years, and throughout this election, is that it has brought people to their knees in prayer. My prayer is that it will continue. Will you stand in prayer with me?

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Do Your Actions Match Your Words?

Whatever you allow to take up residency in your mind will overflow into your heart spilling out of your mouth. It makes little difference what you say because our lives are a living example of what's in our hearts. Let your actions speak louder than your words. Practice what you preach or change your speech...

"And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him." (Colossians‬ ‭3:17‬)

its GO!! time! Have a fabulously blessed day! Make memories and make today count!
