How To Have It All...

Good morning!! Time to rise and shine! If you tippy-toe you can see the weekend!! 🤗

Today's Tip: Sometimes the saying "to have it all" has nothing to do with monetary or worldly possessions... If we open our eyes and look around, I'm sure you'll find you already "have it all!" Be thankful for what you have and put greed aside. To have enough sometimes is to not have at all. It's the lesson that brings values.

Today's Humor: Yawning is your body's way of saying you only have 20% battery life remaining...

Today's Scripture: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Luke‬ ‭12:34‬)

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and fearfully made in His image!! Have a  wonderfully blessed day!!

Don't Stay Where You Are Tolerated....Instead Go Where You Are Celebrated... You ARE Worth More!

God created all people, and created them differently for reasons and purpose we may not understand. Regardless of how we perceive other people to be, they are God's creations, and it is God's will for us to show respect to everyone. However, in the same token, it's also God's will for us to be respected. When that respect is lost, it's time for serious reflection, and possibly life-altering changes.

Do you ever feel overlooked by the world, or more so by someone? Well, no more. Take heart – we are handpicked by God for a purpose.

I love what Lysa Terkeurst wrote in one of her blogs... "I am not just doing tasks. I am building a legacy. I am shaping God's Kingdom. I am in the process of not only discovering my calling but that of my family as well. And I don't know about you, but it sure does make me look at my everyday tasks (yes, even the smelly laundry) in a whole different light."
"Dear Lord, I'm grateful that even when I feel overlooked, I can rest in the fact that I am handpicked by You. Help me to live my life for an audience of One. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
1 Corinthians 15:58b, "Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort." (MSG)

I've always shared and written from the heart because some time ago God called me to share and speak truth when others wouldn't; and oh how this perfectly sums up a battle I've personally been facing of late.
If you ever find yourself in the same battle, rest assured that if you seek God first, the rest will fall into place as He planned and designed. We may alter the course of where we're supposed to be and what we're supposed to be doing, but eventually it all comes back full circle to reveal His promises. It may not be as we imagined or dreamed, but if we'll give it all to God and trust Him -- He will sustain us and provide. Sometimes we let our own selfish desires and ideas get in the way of what He has planned because we're afraid of change and the unknown. No longer be afraid! Just let go and let God take the wheel - I promise the destination will be magnificent!
When you stay in the will of God doors open that you never imagined. Dreams become a reality and chains are broken free. It may not always come in the form of a location change, it may be a mental change; regardless, change occurs when you release your grip.
The point is to never settle. Never let anyone change your integrity or personal values just because they cannot see their own flaws.
Shallow people pick apart others, tear them down, lie, cheat and are deceiving in all of their ways. However, stand firm in your beliefs, your Faith and never let anyone or anything compromise your value, self-esteem or worth. You are MAGNIFICENT! You are AMAZING! There IS a purpose for your life and you just have to believe it and then leave the rest up to God!
Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty King of Kings and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Do something kind today, be nice to others, and respect those you interact with. Strive to make a difference in others lives, but more importantly make a difference in your own life. Life is messy...thank God for Bounty paper towels, Grace & Mercy!

"Pretty words aren't always true...and true words aren't always pretty, but when the truth is spoken, it's always beautiful!"

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

Make memories and make today count for today will never come again. GO! Be the awesome person God designed you to be!

Have a blessed day!

How To Be A Better Mommy...

In my bible study this morning, I was reminded that how being a parent is a tough job! It is, hands-down, the most amazing and rewarding one ever, but it can be taxing -- and mine's only 4! (Lord help me!)

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." ‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭22:6‬)

What does that verse really mean? I've read it hundreds of times throughout my life, but the meaning of it is so much more significant now that I'm reading it as a Mommy. As a parent myself now I better understand that this scripture is most definitely not a guarantee that if you teach your child the right ways, Godly ways, that they won't stray.

We need to understand that just as we grew up and matured we made our own decisions about whether or not to obey God, to follow Him. While we certainly need to teach and encourage our children to choose God's way (note Abraham's example in Genesis 18:19), we also need to realize that our children may have to learn through trial and error and that they may choose a different path than the one in which they grew up. Just as I did growing up, I ventured away from God's Word for a time in my life. Actually, a very long time. I had to make my own mistakes and live my own life. Truth is, I'm still making mistakes and learning. But, I had a foundation instilled in me and I was rooted in a faith I knew to be true & solid.

Even during the times when I wasn't "claiming" to walk with Jesus, or letting Him walk with me, I am so glad that I had prayer warriors covering me with their prayers daily; which, I'm certain kept me safe. I also remember that during troubled times I always found myself going back to my safe-zone, at the feet of Jesus. It's what I knew growing up my whole life! It was one of the constants in my childhood.

Most certainly, I still have a lot to learn about being a parent, but one thing I know for sure is, this scripture is not a guarantee of how my daughter will turn out.  What I teach her will be of much more importance than what I buy (and give) her.

Be a prayer warrior over your child(ren). Cover them with prayer daily. Cover yourself with prayer daily. Teach them to pray and to know the right ways. I promise you it does make a difference, I'm living proof of that. I leave you with this. There is a guarantee from our Heavenly Father -- He will never leave us nor forsake us. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Today's Scripture: "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him."‭‭ (Psalm‬ ‭127:3‬)

Today's Humor: I want patience....AND I WANT IT NOW!!! 😁

I pray you have an amazing day full of joy unspeakable!!

Learning To Live Again...

So many times I hear people talk about their past as if they still live there. I personally know how hard it is to let go of the past and move on. It's a part of who we are. It's what has molded us into the person we are today. It's the orchestra that has been playing our song of life and got us to the concert we are playing in today. However, it is not how we should live our lives.

Our past is what crafted our journey, yes. But, it is also history. It is a series of lessons that we should learn from and use to propel us into the person or to the dream we want to achieve. It should not be the stopper that keeps us from living.

Every day I am reminded of something from my past. Prime example, my husband. I look at him and think of all we have come through to get to where we are today. Is it perfect? No. But show me one marriage that is truly perfect, without flaws, and I'll show you how it's not. There is no such thing as a perfect marriage. The definition of perfect is: make (something) completely free from faults or defects, or as close to such a condition as possible. I don't know about you, but I can tell you that neither Ryan nor myself are perfect. We may strive to be perfect but that wouldn't necessarily be the whole truth either because we're human. We get lazy. We get selfish. We are our own kind of perfectly normal. But, we are each other's and to me he is my kind of perfect. I am learning daily that I cannot live in our past or I will never be able to enjoy our present and build for our future.

Another example of something that reminds me of my past is my daughter. Oh what a joy it is to be a Mother. To be Her Mommy. She is beyond amazing. She is not perfect, but she's perfect to me. I'm listening to her sing Happy Birthday to her stuffed animals in her bedroom right now as I'm writing. Her voice is music to my ears. It's a melody that warms my heart to the core. She is everything I could have ever imagined in a daughter, and more. However, when I look at her, I am reminded daily of all the other children we do not hold in our arms. The ones that reside in Heaven. I think about her sister, Bridgette, and how my heart longs to hold her and hear her sing Happy Birthday to her stuffed animals. How I wonder why I couldn't have her. Why she didn't make it. It saddens my heart and is a past reminder that hurts through to my bones. But, I can't live there, even as much as I want to some days. I know I have to move on. It doesn't mean that I don't think about her daily (and often many times throughout the day). I wonder why I couldn't keep her alive and sometimes have an overwhelming grief that encompasses me as I think about that day we were told she had deceased. It's hard. It's a real pain that will never go away. I won't pretend to understand God's plan or even tell you I'm okay with it -- but, I do trust Him. I have to!

I share this with you so you know that whatever pain or past you may be dealing with is just that....The Past.... Let it go! Find a way to deal with it, but leave it in its respective place. Don't carry it with you into your present and allow it to hinder dreams of your today and your future. When I'm having "one of those days" I have to pray harder. I am not sure how you've dealt with your past, and maybe you haven't, but you have to find what works for you. I find an altar. I find it's a place of rest where I can rejuvenate myself. The best advice I can give you is to learn to pray through the pain, and then get up and enjoy living again.

I would be lying if I told you that letting go is as easy as writing these words on this blog -- but it's not. Some days are extremely tough...But I'm TOUGHER! I'm a "G18Mommy" and I'm a lot stronger today than my past self ever thought I could be or would be. I've overcome a lot of heartache, obstacles and pain, but I've also endured much joy, success and happiness. Find your Joy. Don't get stuck on the sadness of your past.

Through scriptures I find that if I'm faithful to Him - He's faithful to me. Through prayer and continued spiritual growth I can more easily put my past behind me and move forward to achieve the great things God has planned for me.  "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past." (Isaiah 43:18) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Well, I'm off to enjoy a birthday party for my baby girls stuffed animals and eat pretend cake and drink pretend punch.

As I close today, I pray you can find peace. Let go of your past. Remember, you don't live there anymore. What once held you back yesterday is what's going to propel you today...let the past go, you don't live there anymore!

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully" and "fearfully" made (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the Almighty King of Kings and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes You happy! Do something kind today. Be nice to others and respect those you interact with. Strive to make a difference in other's lives, but more importantly make a difference in your own life. Life is messy....thank God for Bounty paper towels, Grace and Mercy!

"Pretty words aren't always true....and true words aren't always pretty; but when the truth is spoken, it's always beautiful!"

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sometimes Being A Mommy Is Hard...

Let's be honest and admit it...some days being a Mommy is just down right tough! Today was one of those days. Actually, this week has been one of those weeks. I can't believe it's already almost over and I still have so much to get accomplished. Which brings me to my next question....Am I the only one that the last thing I'm thinking when I go to bed at night, and the first thing I think of when I wake up of a morning is, "Am I doing this right?

At night, when I lay my head down on my pillow, I reflect on the day and everything that happened. What I did right. What I could have done better. What I still needed to do, etc.... Some nights it takes several hours for me to finally go to sleep. Then when I wake in the morning I look over at my little miracle and think, "God, please help me not to screw her up!

Maybe it's crazy. Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe I overthink it. Maybe not. All I know is, being a Mommy is the most rewarding--yet scariest and challenging thing I have ever in my life done!

I found myself in prayer this evening, after Alexis went to bed, asking for guidance. When I picked Alex up from daycare today, I learned that she had a break-down of sorts because she did not want hot dogs for lunch. And, she was very adamant about it. So adamant that she cried and threw a fit and ended up in time-out. WHAT!!??!! How did this happen that I've raised a child that feels she has the right to cry and throw a fit over something she has eaten before at the daycare? Oh! Then it hits me. Imagine the little 'thought-cloud' that appears in the cartoons over ones head when a thought comes that they don't actually say out loud. That's what happened to me during this whole conversation. I think to myself, "Yes. That is my fault. I do fix her something separate from what I fix me and my husband for dinner. Wait! Ryan does it too. I'm not taking all of the blame for this." (Laughing hysterically inside at how fast I'm having this mental conversation with myself while our sweet daycare provider shares the events of the day with me). I respond with how very sorry I am and then have Alexis apologize before we leave.

After we get home I am perplexed as I'm reflecting on the conversation and thinking about dinner...which, by the way I so wanted to fix hot dogs just to prove a point. But, I did not have the needed ingredients and we were supposed to go to my sisters for dinner anyway. What would you have done? Would you have fixed hot dogs and made her eat them or put her to bed with no dinner? Geeze...all of these little questions and I'm struggling with what is the right answer, and at the same time thinking, "oh my gosh...if I can't figure this out, how in the world am I going to address REAL life-altering issues."

I do what I do best...I pray. Dinner went off without a hitch (because she had chicken nuggets). Bath done, prayers said and to bed she went. Now I'm left with time alone since hubby is out of town on business. I find myself in prayer and I feel Him gently remind me of my morning devotion "Be still. Be quiet." I did just that. I spent time listening.
"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10)

I know today was not really that big of a deal. And, I know that I'm not really that bad of a Mom. However, I do know that it was a lesson learned. Even the smallest decisions we make as parents have an everlasting effect on our children. What we do with the little things will be remembered when we have to discipline for the bigger things, for the things that will be life-altering.

I tell myself, the best thing I can do is just be consistent. I try to pull from my experience and knowledge-bank and quickly realize that I have no prior experience and she did not come with a manual. The only real experience I have is being a leader in the business world. "Yes! That's it...I'll treat her like my employee..." (I again find myself laughing hysterically at my own thoughts). Yes, I know she's not my employee, but I think to myself, "that's the only real experience I have, being a leader" It's similar yet completely different, right?.

What I do know is that I will try harder tomorrow. I will not give in to the pressures of my daughter throwing a fit over not wanting to eat a darn hot dog. I will love her unconditionally and will second-guess my decisions again until I get it right. When that will be, only God knows. But the truth is - being a Mom is the best decision I ever made and I cannot be more thankful for the sleeplessness I will get from today's events and I will wake in the morning praying for more guidance and wisdom and let God be God of our lives and pray I don't screw up.

This blog is about Real life...Real decisions...Big and Small....They all count. Never let the little things get to you - just keep going, keep doing your best and the rest will fall into place. Life is like a puzzle for me and my family. We have all of the pieces - now we just have to find the best way to put them together and not lose our sanity in the process! :0)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty Kind of Kinds and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Do something kind today, be nice to others, and respect those you interact with. Strive to make a difference in others lives, but more importantly make a difference in your own life. Floating In Grace....

Good morning! Time to rise and shine and let your amazing self bask in the glorious day ahead of you....or for you grumpy morning peeps...just rise and smile! 😁

Today's Tip:  I know we often only hit our knees when we're in the midst of storms and chaos but truly we only hear God when we're quiet and still. For many, doing something seems better than doing nothing, so we have a hard time with being still and idle. Silence and stillness are the doorways that welcome our weary hearts in prayer. I am so busy and often forget to stop and just take time to bask in God's quietness and grace. I work, I come home to be a wife and mommy, clean, dishes, laundry, feed the animals, give baths and then breath as I go to sleep. (Thank God I have an amazing hubby that helps too). But, the truth is my only "quiet" time is in the mornings for my devotion and I'm so busy trying to "study" and then write that I miss true quiet time. I too have to remember that prayer can be full of lamenting and asking, but when we realize that deep prayer is more a quieting of the soul, the power of who God is floods into our hearts. He is order amid the chaos and storms, the foundation of all reason, and pure goodness in an unjust world. Through this kind of prayer, love rushes in and renews us.

God is endless and unaltered love. The God that parted the Red Sea and calmed the storms is the same God that works His grace into our everyday lives. Eternity is on the horizon. All we need to do is look to Him, and we will float in depths where our feet can't touch and walk over anything that threatens to overcome is. Try it! Take time to just seek Him in pure silence and listen. You'll find yourself floating in grace before you know it.

Today's Scripture: "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10)

Today's Humor: Be honest...have you ever wanted to say to someone, "If I want your opinion, I'll ask you to fill out the necessary forms." 😂

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have a  wonderfully blessed day!!

Grace.... It's Still Amazing...

Good morning!!!! So thankful God woke me this morning! The seasons are changing and it's definitely getting closer to my favorite time of the year.

Today's Tip: Do you hold grudges? Do you struggle with forgiving? I admit - I do. I'm trying to get better about it but I do realize that I still let "things" bother/hurt me when I know I shouldn't.

Let's be real. Sometimes it's really hard to let go of the grief and anger when someone has caused you hurt and pain. Sadly, it's often the ones you know best and would SWEAR would never hurt you. You trusted them, perhaps opened up and became transparent, leaving yourself vulnerable. My own personal struggle with this is real. However, let me tell you, I've learned that holding on to these offenses only hurt you.

The greatest gift you can give yourself is to forgive the ones that have hurt and offended you. That doesn't mean you run right back to them and lay your book open to them again. You have to use common sense because some people simply will not change. But, you need to focus on forgiving them and praying for them.

Yes, it's hard to let go, but think of it as not letting go but giving it up and giving it to God. When you empty yourself to Him then you make room for Him to fill you with His grace! Grace is MUCH better than guilt.

My challenge for you today is to try it. I promise you'll find His grace is still amazing every single time you experience it.

Today's Scripture: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." (Psalm‬ ‭51:10‬)

Today's Humor: Talk is cheap, until you hire a lawyer... 😁

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have a  wonderfully blessed day!!

The One Constant...

From the heart...its just one of those mornings! Time to get up, get moving & make some serious memories today, peeps!! We've been given another chance!! Whoop! Whoop! That's something to be excited about!

Today's Tip: Life doesn't always turn out like you thought it would. Let's be real.... sometimes life just stinks! Things happen, people change and circumstances evolve, but I have good news! One thing always remains the same...his name is Jesus. Stop placing so much faith and stock in others. Put your faith in Him knowing He is your constant in an ever-changing world and you'll never have to worry or be disappointed again.

Today's Humor: The fact that jellyfish have survived for 650 million years despite having no brain should give hope to many people. 😳

True Light...

Good morning!!! Time to get up, get moving & make some serious memories today, peeps!! You've been given another chance!! Whoop! Whoop! That's something to be excited about!

Today's Tip: Let's be honest with ourselves. We've all faced those dark moments that life can bring. We've experienced bouts of self-pity, frustration, anger, envy, doubt, confusion, even despair. Like people deep within a cave, we've found ourselves surrounded by a blackness that seems overwhelming. We wonder what we're doing in an endless career, friendship, relationship, or even caregiving situation that has us mentally drained. Doubts assail us. We question ourselves and the decisions we're making. We may even doubt Gods concern for us, wondering if He's totally unaware of how bad we hurt.

Let me reassure you, Jesus doesn't want darkness to swallow us. Don't stumble around in the darkness of despair. When gloom and shadows try to overtake you, call on Jesus. The darkness is no match for His true light. It's easy to get caught up in discouraging thoughts or feelings of helplessness. I pray you will recognize when these feelings are consuming you and see your light in all situations and guide you home safely.

Today's Scripture: "I am the light of the world" (John 9:5)

Today's Humor: My favorite bumper stickers says: "All generalizations are false."

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have a Fabulous Friday!!

Hope...

Good morning!! What an amazing day to be alive and breathing!! Love me some rainy mornings!

Today's Tip: Hope is essential to life. Without it, life has no meaning, no purpose. God calls us to "cease striving" (Psalm 46:10), so that we can know Him and understand the hope of His calling (Ephesians 1:18). He wants us to quietly hope and wait on His promises for strength (Isaiah 40:31), for endurance (1 Corinthians 10:13), for peace (Romans 15:13), for salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:8), for eternal life in heaven (Titus 1:2)--for others as well as ourselves.

Whatever you may be going through just know that if you place your hope and faith in Jesus it's not a gamble, it's a sure bet that He will see you through. Never forget to pray about everything! And never give up Hope!

Today's Humor: Failure is not an option. It's bundled with your software.

Today's Scripture: "It's a good thing to quietly hope for the help from God." (Lamentations 3:26)

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have an amazing day!!

Every Season Has A Reason...

Good morning blogger fans!! Time to be amazing and get this day started!

Today's Tip: I absolutely love this time of year! As we approach the season of trees changing and shedding of their leaves, it always serves as a reminder to me that sometimes you have to shed your old past, fears and anxieties in order to grow and develop into the person God designed you to be. Not one of us is without blame of some sort, nor are we perfect; so when you get to the point where you begin to feel burdened and weighted down, take time to be like the trees in the Fall--shed the old and make room for the new! Let God renew your spirit and make you new again. Remember, every season has a reason.

Today's Humor: Help stamp out, eliminate and abolish redundancy!

Today's Scripture: "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." (Ezekiel‬ ‭36:26‬)

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have an amazing day!!

Flexibility To Grow...

Good morning!!! Time to rise and shine!!

Today's Tip: Sometimes you can have the best plan, but if you don't have flexibility and the ability to accept/create change, everything can fall apart in a second. Throughout my career, I have learned the keys to success is Change and Flexibility! Change has often brought me much satisfaction and better results than I had before.

I would love to know what's one thing you've learned in your career or life that has made you successful?

Today's Humor: Take my advice...I'm not using it!
Today's Scripture: "You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." (Psalms‬ ‭16:11‬)

GO! Have an amazingly, blessed day in the Lord! Let your light shine and never forget how AWESOME you are!!

Pray When It's Hardest...

Love my morning devotion! So simple - with a big message! So many times I think we're all guilty of giving up on our prayers when we feel like we're not getting an answer--especially when it's not the answer we desire. Never give up! Persistently continue to seek God and His will .... Even when it doesn't match our desires. Remember, we don't know what's best, He does! Trust Him! Have Faith! Even when it's hard to understand!

"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Luke 11:9)

The power of persistent prayer is incredible. Strength rises up in your voice as you continuously seek God's answer to your prayers. Rest assured that He will always answer: through fulfillment of your prayer, a firm "no," or by guiding your heart in a different direction, causing you to no longer seek the answer to that prayer. Go ahead and pray a specific prayer daily.

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Change...

Are you experiencing a lot of change in your life right now? Maybe a career change, a big move, or a child going off to college? Or maybe you aren't facing a huge change but, like me, every day seems to hold quite a few variations and challenges. See, that's what this blog is about....life of a real-life working executive mommy of a very crazy, real, and fun life!

Change can be very unsettling and downright scary at times. Even the small daily changes tend to eat away at us and have us wishing for something predictable! Like, for example, the unexpected travel of your husband, on the day your babysitter is unavailable, your sister is out of town and all other plans from D to Z fail! I thought I was good with a Plan B and C, but, unpredictable changes interrupted that plan and I simply wasn't prepared. Well, here's how you deal with it...you pull your big girl pants up, face life in the face and call your boss begging for forgiveness! (Haha)! Okay, so maybe it didn't go quite like that, I didn't have to beg for forgiveness but it was an unexpected call, and maybe that seems insignificant compared to what you're dealing with, but for me it's still a "change" I had to deal with.

Change can actually be a good thing! It might not seem like it at the time, but the Lord will work all things together for you good (Romans 8:28) if you love Him, trust Him and have Faith!  He will be with you through all of the changes you face.

My point is simple. If we aren't grounded in Christ, change can send us tumbling over the edge. Even the smallest changes. Isn't it wonderful that He gives us the assurance that He will never change? He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Jesus Christ is with you always. He sees all of the unpredictable moments that creep --or slam--into your life.

Remember that these moments have passed through His hands before He allowed them to greet you. Your attitude will play a vital role in the overarching outcome. I challenge you to take a look back at all of the things you have now that you prayed for. Then give the Lord thanks! I look at my little blue-eyed Angel and thank Him daily!

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forget." (Hebrews 13:8)

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty King of Kings and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy!
