Positive Thoughts = Powerful Results

Good morning!!! Time to rise & shine & give God the glory for another amazing day!! If you're reading this then you have a reason to smile!
We often forget that what we "feed" (tell) ourselves (brains) turns into actions. If you tell yourself you can, odds are you will. If you tell yourself you can't, odds are you won't. Same concept applies within the facts that there is so much power in just our own thoughts - words that we never even say, but that we think. What we think - we do! It's really that simple. Start telling yourself how wonderful you are, how smart you are, and how you are a winner and your outcomes will start to change - if nothing else, in how you see yourself and your confidence will be boosted as well.
Just remember....Practice makes perfect....so be careful what you practice! Learn to love yourself and who you were designed to be.....!
"For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." (Proverbs 2:6)

Who You're Designed To Be....

Good morning blogger fans!! What an absolutely beautiful morning we have before us. I am SO thankful for another opportunity to be alive and do what God's designed me to do and be. How about you? Are you thankful today? Are you where God's designed you to be?

It's so amazing how your life can transform when you make the decision that you want to walk in the will of God. It's absolutely amazing what doors and opportunities are opened to oneself when they decide to really surrender all and pray to be used according to His plan - not for our own selfish needs.  Whatever you're facing today, I urge you to stop and take a step back, and say a simple prayer: "Lord, today I humbly submit myself to you. I ask that you would use me in a way that would glorify your Name and that your will be done."
It's really that simple. When you put Him first....you learn to become okay with being Second. #IAmSecond

Monday Morning Motivation!

From the heart...

Today's Tip: It's all about understanding God brought you to where you are because someone may need to know your recipe for survival. You are a precious commodity and your story just may be the cure to their crisis/broken heart, so don't be afraid to share it.  God woke you today for a reason - you have a purpose! Don't ever give up - someone may need you! πŸ’

Today's Humor: The problem with being punctual is there's hardly anyone there to appreciate it. πŸ€—

Today's Scripture:  "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" (‭Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭35‬)

It's your day...GO! Show them just how awesome you are!!! Have a blessed day Facebook peeps! Make memories and make today count.

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Be Beautiful!

Good morning blogger fans! Hope you all are up and enjoying a beautiful morning! I'm still under the weather, so all prayers are appreciated!

Today's Tip: When we learn to care as much about our inner beauty as we do about our outward beauty we'll be surprised what a difference we can make, and the impression we can really have on others. Be a reflection of what true beauty means! It's not always about the jewelry you adorn yourself with as much as it is about the morals you hold inside.

Today's Humor: A narrow mind and a wide mouth usually go together....

Today's Scripture: "Do not let your adornment be merely outward — arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel — rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God." (‭‭I Peter‬ ‭3:3-4‬)

GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have an amazing day!!

"Pretty words aren't always true...and true words aren't always pretty, but when the truth is spoken, it's always beautiful!"

Peace - The Fruit of The Spirit...

From the heart...
Today's Tip: The Apostle Paul names peace as one of the fruits of the Spirit; it is one of the signs that a child of God is living close to Him. But no child of God is immune to the stresses and dangers of daily life. In the 21st century, our sense of peace is constantly challenged by bad news: warring nations, wild-eyed terrorists and mind-numbing natural disasters are piped straight to our homes via TV and the Internet. The 24-hour news cycle and the inevitable calamities of life all tempt us to forget that God is with us, that He loves us, and that He wants us to experience His peace. But the still, small voice is still there, still gently insistent: the fruit of the Spirit is…peace. We just have to be quiet long enough to hear and feel it!

Today's Humor: You know you're tired when the alarm goes off and you answer your phone!

Today's Scripture: We enter into peace when we accept this invitation: "Come near to God and he will come near to you." -James 4:8

Good morning blogger peeps... You know what time it is -  it's GO! time! Time to show the world just how AWESOME you are! Have a Fabulous Friday! Make memories and make today count!  Have a Blessed day!

Life Is What You Make It!

Today's Tip: Nothing steals your joy like thinking "I will enjoy my life when...."  Stop waiting on the perfect moment and know that you have the perfect life - nothing is without flaws! It is what you make it so know that God's Grace and Mercy is enough!

Today's Humor: That moment your alarm goes off on your phone and you look at it and think "Who's Adam?" because you're still 1/2 asleep!

Today's Scripture: "You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures." (James 4:1)

Happy Thursday Facebook peeps! Today's the day...GO! Be awesome! Have a blessed day!

Find Your Song Of Praise!

Good morning blogger fans! Time to Rise and Shine!! No wining allowed today!

Today's Tip: Whatever circumstance you may face today, whatever burden you may carry -- never forget that our Lord goes before you and you are never alone. My prayer this morning is that you remember that if you let Christ dwell in you so shall He put a song of praise on your lips and joy in your heart that will set your day up for success if you will just trust in Him. Take time today to be a ray of sunshine for another, let them see and feel the spirit through you and your good works, for you just may be what they need to be encouraged. Let God use you and you too will be rewarded.

Today's Humor: Laughing is the best medicine, but if you're laughing for no reason you may need medicine! πŸ˜€

Today's Scripture: "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord." (‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:16‬)

You know what time it is....it's GO! time! Time to get up, get your best smile on and get to gettin'! Make memories and make today count! Have a beautifully, blessed day!

Teach Your Children....

Good morning blogger fans! Time to rise and shine and give God the glory!!

Today's Tip: As a parent it's no longer about just you...you have been given a treasure, a gift, to love and protect and to teach him/her the truth. Be the kind of parent(s) that stands out from the rest - teaching them to say 'yes ma'am and no ma'am' is important but teaching about God and Hope and how to get up when they fall is critical.

Today's Humor:  I'm a English major! (With a Texas twist)!

Today's Scripture: "Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them." (Deuteronomy 4: 9)

It's GO! time! Time to let your awesome self shine!! Have a blessed day!! Make memories and make today count!!

23 in 23 Days!

This blog is about something that is near and dear to my heart. My marriage. I have been married to my wonderful husband (today he's wonderful, because I'm not upset with him - Big Smile!!) coming up on 23 years, in just 23 short days. I am extremely proud of this. I know there are a lot of marriages that have lasted a lot longer than ours, but there are some that have done good to last 23 days. I am hoping that if you are not yet married, this blog will give you hope. If you are married, and struggling, I pray this blog will give you hope. Tough times don't last....but tough people do! Just remember that as you read this.

Over the last few months it seems I have heard of so many divorces or almost divorces and I often think .... "why?" Lord knows my husband and I have [most definitely] had our ups and downs, faced many, many, many challenges, from financial battles, to what some would call irreconcilable differences, heated discussions about politics & religion, burying children and going through infertility failures, and an In Vitro Fertilization (IvF) pregnancy that left us literally heartbroken and fulfilled all in on; and yet we have managed to stay married - beat ALL ODDS, and from my perspective, still doing rather well. Most can not have a heated discussion without getting divorced let alone go through half of what we've overcome in the last 22+ years. Yes, we did end up separated after 5 short years of marriage, but we managed to reconcile and make it work. Neither one of us have been perfect. No one is perfect! No marriage is perfect. So, if you have that expectation - well, I hate to burst your bubble - but it simply does not exist.

Anyone who tells you marriage is easy has just left the alter. Marriage takes 3! Husband, wife and first and foremost, God! If you don't have a 3-cord marriage it will be even harder. When I say "marriage takes work," I don't mean that in a negative sense. I mean it from a perspective of you cannot expect to get if you don't give. It's that simple.

I want to share something intimate with you. I love to read. I think reading feeds the brain. Depending on what you read also fuels the mind and body, gives you inspiration and sets you up for success through continued learning. I spend the majority of my time reading my Bible. It's food for my soul, which is instrumental to my daily living. Next, I listen to a lot of audible books (due to my daily commute to/from work), and read a lot of self-help, inspirational and spiritual gift books. I think it's so important to keep your mind filled with positive inputs so you have positive outputs.

About 10 years ago (or more) I purchased a very well-known book, "The Power Of A Praying Wife" by author, Stormie Omartian. I was so excited. I just KNEW this book was going to help me "change" my husband. I crawl in bed one evening, grab the book, with high expectations and the very first sentence in the book reads, "First of all, let me make it perfectly clear that the power of a praying wife is not a means of gaining control over your husband, so don't get your hopes up! In fact, it is quite the opposite. It's laying down all claim to power in and of yourself, and relying on God's power to transform you, your husband, your circumstances, and your marriage." WHAT??? I shut the book, laid it on the nightstand beside the bed, and it was more than a year before I opened it again. I was devastated! I felt like I had just wasted my money.

Fast forward a year. Ryan and I had been in heavy discussion about having children. We had lost another baby and we were not in agreement to try again. I had a very heartbreaking tubal pregnancy that almost resulted in my demise and he was not ready to forego the pain again. I, on the other hand, could not imagine not trying again. I wanted to be a Mom. I had dreams of holding our child in my arms - alive! Was that really too much to ask? How could he be so insensitive! How could he not want to see my heart and dreams fulfilled? All I could think of was how selfish he was! It would be 5 more long years before we would agree to start the IvF process. I needed to read that book! Maybe there was more to it... maybe I could get past the opening 'stupid' sentence! I mean, after-all, what woman does not need to change their husband from time-to-time? I mean, isn't that the whole purpose of praying for your husband? Boy, did I have a lot of growing up to do!

I became very bitter, angry and could not even grieve for my own stubbornness. It took me the better part of three years before I would actually finish the book. [This is where I become an advertisement for the book.] If you have not read it, and you want to become a Proverbs 31 wife - Read the book! I have read the book more than five times since then. I occasionally will pick it up just to refresh myself.  I recently got the book back, as I loaned it out to a friend that was going through a rough patch in her own marriage. Over the last week I have re-read it again.

What I want to share with you is that it really isn't about my husband. This book helped ME realize that it's about ME. It's about MY walk with God. It's about MY relationship. What I want and desire has to start with ME. Change starts with ME! It's about praying FOR my husband - NOT to change him - but to change me so that I can be more understanding, supportive, and open. There are several pieces of the book that really spoke volumes to me - but Chapter Eight - well, it's the one that brought me to my knees.

After I read Chapter 8, I asked my husband what he was afraid of and why he did not want to try again to have children. That's when I learned so much! I learned that he was afraid. He was afraid of losing me. He was afraid that he wouldn't be a good dad. I had no clue! I had never really taken the time to ask him why. I just heard "no."

Clearly, you'll have to read it - but I will leave you with these questions:
1.) Do you know what your husband's fears are? Do you share any of the same fears?
2.) Ask your husband if there are any fears he has for which he would like you to pray about for him.
3.) One thing about fear is that it is often contagious. When the spiritual leader of a home is facing fears, the entire household can falter. How have your husband's fears affected you?
4.) Psalm 34:4 reads, "I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." In light of this Scripture, how could you pray for your husband so that he would be set free from his fears?

The key to a good marriage is solid communication. Ryan and I are still working on this. However, I can tell you we are light-years ahead of where we were even 5 years ago. I have shifted my prayers and I pray every day FOR my husband. I pray that God will protect and cover him. That He will go before him and lead him and guide him in his every thought and action. I pray that he will never doubt how much Alexis and I love him and appreciate him. I pray that God will deliver him from anything that is causing him stress or anxiety. I pray that God will abide in him and with him daily, that he will make good, solid and sound decisions for our family. Clearly that's not all of my prayer but you get the gist of it.

Learn to pray for your husband but mostly, learn to pray for yourself. I pray daily that God will guide me and bridle my tongue. That He will give me a soft heart and gentle touch to be a positive influence for my family. That He will make me a strong and thoughtful wife that will always put Him first so that my family can always see Him through me. I pray for wisdom and strength and that He will help me to learn to be the kind of wife He designed me to be.

I am FAR from the perfect wife. However, I can promise you that once I changed the way I was
praying - my marriage changed, my outlook changed and my desires to change my husband changed. We are still a work-in-progress...every day is a new day -- and thank God that we have the opportunity to try again. Whatever you're going through, or if you're single and looking for a husband or wife, learn to pray for yourself first. Leave it in God's hands - and watch the magic unfold as you change.

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty Kind of Kings and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Do something kind today, be nice to others, and respect those you interact with. Strive to make a difference in others' lives, but more importantly make a difference in your own life. Life is messy...thank God for Bounty Paper towels, Grace & Mercy!

Someone Needs You!

From the heart...
Today's Tip: Some days you may be tired and weary, not certain how you can face another day, another battle, but I want to remind you that you do not have to do this alone. There is a Heavenly Father that has you in the shelter of his arms. He is just waiting on you to come running into them. Make that choice - choose Christ! He is your shelter in the storm, your peace during turmoil and your strength when you are weak.

Today's Humor: Just for fun - make all decisions by using the innie-minnie-miney-moe process!

Today's Scripture:  "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." (Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-29‬)

Amazing Grace!

Good morning!!! Oh what a beautiful morning it is! I'm so thankful to be alive - how about you?

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10)

Do you hold grudges? Sometimes it's already hard to let go of the grief and anger when someone has caused you hurt and pain. Just a few weeks ago I posted on this exact topic; and it's often the ones whom you know the best that can hurt you the most. I just feel the need to expand, just a little more.

The greatest gift you can give yourself is to forgive the offender. Yes! It's hard to let go, but think of it as not letting go but giving it up -- giving it to God. Make a trade-off if you will. Give Him your shame, anger, pain, guilt and memories of the issues, assaults or insults. Then, when you're empty, really empty, (and trust me - if you do it right -- you will be really empty), let Him fill you with His grace! Try it, and you'll find that grace is still amazing every single time you experience it. And, yes, I'm sorry to say, but you will continue to be faced with issues -- it's called "life."  However, remember, how you deal with it is what sets YOU up for success or failure.

"This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalms 118:24)

You know the routine! It's your day to GO be amazing!!! Have a Blessed day! Make memories and make today count!!

Changing Our Response - Changes Outcomes!

Good morning Blogger Fans....

What an awesome day to be alive!! I thank God that He has chosen to give me another day!

"A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire." (Proverbs 15:1)

The "love is patient, love is kind" passage in Paul's letter to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 13:4) is one of the world's most well-known descriptions of love. After giving the positive attributes of love, Paul flips the coin to explain what love is not: It is not rude or easily angered.

The Greek word for "easily angered" is paroxyno. In different Bible versions, it is translated to mean greatly distressed, easily angered, irritable.  Bottom line, Paul was saying that love means we don't fly off the handle to our husbands and children.

When we snap at those we love, what happens? Our actions create emotional and physical distance. People scatter! They escape to another room until we cool off. Or they might respond by getting even and snapping back. Some may flee and never return. Irritability can quickly escalate into anger.  Little things turn into big things, and big things turn into bad things.

We all have frustrating days that put us close to the edge. Not one of us are perfect. Most of us do not even realize what we're doing or saying until it's done. So what's a better way to handle irritability? Instead of expecting our family to excuse bad behavior AFTER it happens, ask for some allowance. Be candid, before you snap. "I've had a horrible day and I'm not feeling very patient" is a much healthier response than flying odd the handle. Try it! There's nothing to lose and everything to gain: real love! "Lord, put a bit in my mouth! Pull on the reins so that I stop before I snap" is a prayer that I often find myself praying. You know what time it is... It's GO! time! Be the amazing person God created you to be. Receive all of His abundance and blessings He has in store for you!

I pray you have an AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL DAY! May God wrap His loving arms around you (and place a hand on our mouths as needed today).

Positive Attitudes = Positive Outcomes!

Good morning beautiful peeps!!

How amazing to be alive! If that's not how you feel then you need to do a check of your blessings cart and possibly get back to bed and hit the reset button. Your attitude is INSTRUMENTAL in sculpting and setting the stage for your day! If you don't feel great about yourself and have an "I'm Blessed" attitude then you will struggle the whole day!  You have a purpose! You are Amazing! You are Beautiful! You and your smile could just be the key to someone else's happiness! Be a role model and Be who God designed you to be!

"This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalms‬ ‭118:24‬)

It's your day to GO be amazing!!! Have a Blessed day! Make memories and make today count!!

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!

Good morning blogger fans!! Praying you had a good nights rest and you're ready to tackle this terrific Tuesday!!  I admit, there are some days of taking more than I can give, not enough hours in the days, choices I wouldn't make again, tears from missing my baby Bridgette, complete exhaustion from long, long days at the office -- but at the end and beginning and of every day I am beyond thankful for my blessed life. Coming home to and waking up to my amazing husband and beautiful daughter - well, I simply wouldn't trade my journey for nothing in the world! I pray you get to a place in your life where you can say the same thing! With God it is possible! Every day is a gift - unwrap it and enjoy it!! Embrace the good, the bad and the ugly, and make every day better than the day before!!

"Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." (Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬)

The Choice Is Yours

Good morning blogger fans!

As I wake to the news this morning it just continues to remind me why I dread turning it on.  There is so much sadness that's been going on in this world of late that I just wish I could fix it all. We all need to stop. Take a moment to really look around. Take a moment to recognize the beauty that surrounds you. Maybe it's not all glitz and gold but if you look at what surrounds you I'm sure you can find SOMETHING or SOMEONE to be thankful for.  As I look around I see so much wealth and it has nothing to do with monetary things. I see a little girl that is playing with a stuffed bear she's trying to hang on the side of a chair, pretending it's in a tree, a husband that just got home and eating breakfast, the TV sounding in the background, Molly (our family dog) curled up on the coach and the wind silent outside as the heat index is in full climb to reach a sultry hot day. What I realize is that I'm beyond blessed and the richest person in the world. I have a family that loves me and that I love unconditionally, a cool house to be in out of the inclement weather, food in the cabinets, clothes in the closets, and so much more...I could just go on and on and on...but I think you get the point.

So many times people get caught up in all that they don't have - and there are so many with so much less - and there are so many with so much more; however, I learned a long time ago that 'comparison' only robs you of your own joy. I challenge you today to learn to be happy and content with what you have and if you want more then find a way to get more without hurting others. Set your mind, set your goals and then make it happen! But more importantly - love what you have!

You know what to do.... It's AWESOME time!! GO! Let them be envious of your amazing self!! Have a blessed day! Make memories and make today count!

Joy Comes In The Morning

It's been a slow start to my morning and I have so much to do today that I'm exhausted already just thinking about it! I admit, it's been such a tough week that today I'm simply mentally exhausted.

During my morning prayer time with my Lord this morning, I once again was reminded that shifting focus helps get one moving in the right direction. It's easy to focus on the pain and question where is God and why hasn't He healed you yet, or why hasn't he answered a prayer; but, don't let your pain speak louder than God's Love, Grace & Mercy. This pain you bear can have meaning by bringing glory to God. Be courageous today. Don't concentrate on the pain, instead, be bold in your patience as you wait on the Lord.

Four of my amazing Aunts sang a beautiful song at our daughters funeral, "Joy comes in the morning!" Well, it's morning and as I take a look around I see an abundance of blessings that He's blessed me with. Completely re-energized me. Patients is most definitely a virtue most of us lack, but not an impossibility. Change your thoughts and you can change your outcome.

"Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord" (Psalm 27:14)

You know what to do.... It's AWESOME time!! GO! Let them be envious of your amazing self!! Have a blessed day! Make memories and make today count!

Prayer Changes Things...

Good morning blogger fans.... I pray you're up and shining bright!!

Well….I would have had this out sooner but right in the middle of writing my morning blog, God spoke to my heart and ….well….He changed my path/course of what I‘m supposed to be sharing. I was a little disappointed because my other one was…WOW! But apparently someone (including myself) needs to read this more – so I must obey!

Have you ever stopped and wondered why there is so much conflict and tension in relationships today? Really in the world period? Why there are so many divorces, broken homes, broken friendships, brokenness period? I have. I have also cried out to God in my prayers and begged Him to show me how to love someone the right way. How to be a better wife, mother, friend, employer, employee, daughter, sister, aunt. I don’t seem to really feel like I get the answer I’m looking for. Then I think, “what exactly is the answer I‘m looking for?”  That’s when, as I rose from my prayers this morning, I realized that the reason my blog was changed is because it’s for me.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks at the office – which, yes, naturally, rolls over into the home-life because whether we admit it or not, we ALL bring our work home with us in some fashion or another. Whether its texting, emailing, worrying, finishing that last employee evaluation at midnight, polishing those last tweaks for that presentation, drilling down into the P&L just a little longer to find that budget gap, etc., we are all guilty of it in some way.

As I reflect back over the times when I’m diligently praying for peace, harmony, brokenness, to be a better person, or better friendship, leadership skills, etc., it’s usually been a time when I have felt “wronged.” Times when I am flooded with emotions and so I go to Him on bended knees and begin praying more generically to be better at all of the above. This morning I felt God speaking to me to stop being so generic in my prayers. Be Specific! God has a plan and design for each of our lives. He wants us to prosper. He wants us to live FULL lives, not lives of discontentment, loneliness, sadness. He designed us to be HAPPY! In Matthew 7:7, Jesus tells us through his red lettering in the Bible to, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” If you notice, not once does it read “maybe!”

My challenge for you today is to be specific in your prayers. Even if you don’t know what you want, what to pray for, pray just that. Pray that God will help you find your purpose, find your inner voice to learn to pray more specifically. But more importantly, pray! And, not just when you’re in the midst of a crisis. Pray when it’s easiest to pray – when all is going right. That’s when we really need Him the most.

“Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:1-4

You know what to do.... It's AWESOME time!! GO! Let them be envious of your amazing self!! Have a blessed day! Make memories and make today count!

Remember Your Blessings

Good morning blogger fans...so excited for another day!

I pray that you have risen and are shining so bright for all the world to see your amazing glory and awesomeness!

As I was finishing up my morning devotion and getting ready this morning to start my day, I was thinking just how easy it is to get caught up in all that's wrong in our lives, or the craziness that we battle, and how we so often forget to thank God for all that's right and good and a blessing! Yesterday evening, I had the pleasure of meeting up with some wonderful, amazing former colleagues. It was so good to catch up and take a trip down memory lane to reminisce about the good old days. When I left I couldn't help but smile thinking how full my heart was because of those individuals. Truly, each has played a part in shaping who I am today, both personally and professionally. Each one has brought such joy to my life in so many different ways. Through this reflection I was reminded that when we learn to focus on the positive the negative things will eventually seem so small. Positive thoughts lead to positive changes! I challenge you to use that today. If you find yourself in a moment where life is completely crazy (and Lord knows we ALL have craziness we deal with) stop, take a deep breath and just say a quick prayer thanking our Lord that you are alive and breathing and able to deal with this craziness. Then thank Him again for something else that means the world to you. Remember to enjoy life... after all, it has an expiration date; so never forget to inject a little humor in occasionally, it will keep you young!

"Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me." (Psalms 103:2)

You know what to do.... It's AWESOME time!! GO! Let them be envious of your amazing self!! Have a blessed day! Make memories and make today count!

Broken Pasts Make Amazing Futures

Good morning blogger fans ....time to rise & shine & show the world just how amazing you are! It's GO time! Time to be Awesome!

You don't have to limit your future merely because of voids in your past. It's time to close those old chapters in your life....and pick up the pen of 'Hope' and write new ones on the tablet of 'Faith!' I wrote that almost a year ago and still love it to this day.  But as I've grown in my own Faith over the last few years I've learned so much about learning to love and appreciate the past. You've heard all the clichΓ©s of "don't look back, you're not going that way," and "no one ever got ahead by looking backwards." Well, I want to spoil that a little this morning. I think it's healthy to take a peek back at who you used to be and what you've overcome. It's a wonderful reminder of what God has brought you and me through. And, if you're going through some things right now, don't fret - just stay humble, stay on your knees in prayer and trust God as He will bring you through it. What's so ironic is, I often end up in a completely different place or with a completely different outcome than I expected, but so far it's always been better than my expectations or imagination. I've learned when you fully rely on God you must accept all of His plans for you - not just those that you think you want/need. Give it all to God and let Him be your driver for a change. I promise you, the scenery will be amazing and the journey will only continue to get sweeter by the day if you'll just trust Him!

Today's Humor: I believe today I will make all decisions using the 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' method. 😁

"The Lord is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." (‭Lam ‭3‬:‭24‬)

Have a blessed day! Make memories and make today count!
