Remember Your Blessings
Good morning blogger
fans...so excited for another day!
I pray that you have
risen and are shining so bright for all the world to see your amazing glory and
awesomeness!
As I was finishing up my
morning devotion and getting ready this morning to start my day, I was thinking
just how easy it is to get caught up in all that's wrong in our lives, or the
craziness that we battle, and how we so often forget to thank God for all
that's right and good and a blessing! Yesterday evening, I had the pleasure of
meeting up with some wonderful, amazing former colleagues. It was so good to
catch up and take a trip down memory lane to reminisce about the good old days.
When I left I couldn't help but smile thinking how full my heart was because of
those individuals. Truly, each has played a part in shaping who I am today,
both personally and professionally. Each one has brought such joy to my life in
so many different ways. Through this reflection I was reminded that when we
learn to focus on the positive the negative things will eventually seem so
small. Positive thoughts lead to positive changes! I challenge you to use that
today. If you find yourself in a moment where life is completely crazy (and
Lord knows we ALL have craziness we deal with) stop, take a deep breath and just
say a quick prayer thanking our Lord that you are alive and breathing and able
to deal with this craziness. Then thank Him again for something else that means
the world to you. Remember to enjoy life... after all, it has an expiration
date; so never forget to inject a little humor in occasionally, it will keep
you young!
"Let all that I am
praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me." (Psalms
103:2)
You know what to do....
It's AWESOME time!! GO! Let them be envious of your amazing self!! Have a
blessed day! Make memories and make today count!
Remember, as I've
written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will
never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made"
(Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the
almighty King of King and that you do not have to "BE" what the world
expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Do something
kind today, be nice to others, and respect those you interact with. Strive to
make a difference in others’ lives, but more importantly make a difference in
your own life. Life is messy...thank God for Bounty paper towels, Grace &
Mercy!
"Pretty words aren't always true...and true words aren't always pretty, but when the truth is spoken, it's always beautiful!"
"And you will know
the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)
Make memories and make today count for today will never come again. GO! Be the awesome person God designed you to be! Have a blessed day!
