Garbage In = Garbage Out...

Good morning blogger fans!! Rise and Shine! Time to get your awesomeness up and moving! 

Today's Tip: Garbage In = Garbage Out.

As I was driving to work yesterday, listening to my audiobooks (as I do most every morning or Focus On The Family), I realized that it is SO true - what I listen to and what I start my day with truly does have an impact on the outcome of how my day is going to go and end. 

What you feed your mind, what you fill your heart with and what you fuel your spirit with is what will spill out. Here's a little challenge for you today. Start your morning with a positive thought, then speak it out loud. 

Here are a few positive thoughts for you to start with: 

"Good morning!" 

"I am amazing!" 

"I am enough!" 

"I am thankful to be alive and breathing." 

"Today is going to be a magnificent day." 

If you start your day trying to keep up with the Kardashian's, or what's going wrong in Hollywood, or even in politics, then I'm pretty sure your day is going to be an epic fail. However, if you start your day with a positive thought, a prayer, and feed yourself that all day long, your day will be drastically different and amazing. Try it and let me know how it goes for you! Yes, I have tested this theory. 

Every day is a new opportunity and what you choose to do with it is a personal choice. Today I CHOOSE to be happy and I CHOOSE to live, love and laugh. Regardless of the outcome, what goes on in my day, or even how it ends or the number of epic fails I experience, I am forever grateful that I get the opportunity to try again today. That is how I want you to look at this day and every day. 

Life is an amazing journey and every step that you were given the opportunity to take is another step closer to achieving your dreams. Never stop moving!

GO! Live your life to the fullest today! Forgive often, love endlessly, and more importantly, never, ever, ever give up. Spread some joy today and know that you are amazingly talented and beautiful and today's the day for you to Shine!! Have a blessed day! 

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty King of Kings and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Do something kind today, be nice to others, and respect those you interact with. Strive to make a difference in others lives, but more importantly make a difference in your own life. Life is messy...thank God for Bounty paper towels, Grace & Mercy!
