Being A Leader Is Tough.... Being A Great Leader Is Tougher!

Let's be honest. Being a great leader isn't always easy. Some days it's just downright tough to be an effective, inspiring, well-respected leader for yourself or your company.
The good news is you can become an awesome, actionable leader. When you learn that God places you in positions of leadership, not because you are necessarily capable, but because you are willing to submit yourself to Him and let Him guide your footsteps. That's the main key ingredient in the formula to becoming a successful leader.
My Daily Prayer:
Dear Lord, grow my love for you so I will trust in You when I can't see the path ahead clearly.
Help me not to say yes when no is the right answer. N
ever allow my plan to get ahead of — or in the place of — Your plan. Allow me to forgive easily, hold no grudges or bitterness, and live in and extend to others the grace You have provided to me. Provide me with courage and conviction to face my fears and critics and lead people to bigger realities of Your will than today. Grant me wisdom to make decisions big and small and conviction to follow You when it contradicts my desires or the demands of others. Help me guard my heart, overcome temptation, and keep my character and reputation above reproach. Give me patience with people, the pace of progress, and with things I can't understand. Help me communicate with clarity, consistency, and competence. Help me to love people and use my influence for the good of others and Your glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

Being a leader is tough! Being a great leader is tougher when you try to do it without the guidance of our Heavenly Father! The great news.... You don't have to! As scripture tells us, "Nothing is impossible with God!" (Luke 1:37)
