Back To The Basics Of Life

Good morning my peeps!! Time to rise and shine...no whining allowed on this beautiful morning!

As I read through scriptures this morning, I was moved by some simple facts such as, our Lord truly helped the weak! That hasn't changed!

He walked everywhere He went, He did not have a cell phone, GPS, etc.... He let His Father be his guide and was not driven or motivated by material things.

I often wonder what this world would be like if we went back to the 'basics of life' where families actually talked to one another at dinner, kids played outside, we were really accountable for our wrong doings, and everyone worked hard towards the same goal? I'm not saying it was perfect when I was a child, but it certainly was close and there were true work ethics and morals still in place. We had skinned knees and made lifelong friendships. We sincerely prayed and cared for one another.

Just seems as if we were going in the wrong direction and maybe, just maybe, that's why this is all happening with this COVID-19.

It's time we get back to letting our Heavenly Father guide our footsteps and get us back to skinned knees and family dinners. It's time we are humbled before Him on our face praying for what's most important to us. Look at where we all are today - work ethics is most critical in a time when most of us are working remote and our employers are depending on us more now than ever.

I'm not sad about this quarantine - I'm thankful and blessed.  If God is your GPS then your whole outlook will change.

Pray for those around you. Pray for a changed heart. Then pray that God will give you the edge over our competition so that your light will outshine the darkness in this world.

It's time we put the happiness back into the workdays, in all places! Became thankful for what we have and be the leaders God designed us to be, in both our homes and workplaces!

Now, Go! Have a blessed day!! Make memories and make today count because it will never come this way again! #WakePraySlay

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35)

If you agree, please feel free to like and share!

Have a blessed day!
