Don’t Allow Comparison To Steal Your Joy!

Good morning! Time to rise and shine! 

He [King Ahaz] offered sacrifices to the gods of Damascus who had defeated him, for he said, "Since these gods helped the kings of Aram, they will help me, too, if I sacrifice to them."  But instead, they led to his ruin and the ruin of all Judah. (2 Chronicles 28:23) 

Listen, it's easy to look around and compare ourselves to others and desire the same thing they have.  Most would say, "that's normal."  I'm here to tell you - it's not!  King Ahaz did the same thing in this passage and was quick to choose the greener grass on the other side.  However, little did he know, following others would bring his downfall.  God has an exciting plan for you. One that was designed specifically for you. The question is, will you be bold enough to choose to follow it or get distracted today and chase after "greener" grass? Today's Tip: if you manicure "your own lawn" it will be beautiful and green too! Spend your time and energy focusing on Him and asking him to show you what and where you are supposed to be and He will show you. Then, trust him and he will make a way! 

There's so much going on now days that you don't have time to waste it trying to be like someone else. You be you! You're beautiful! You're amazing! You're enough!
