Finding Joy In Loss....

I woke this morning with a heavy but grateful heart, but I am so thankful for memories and priceless friendships. ♥️

My daughter asked me this morning, "Mommy, why are you so sad?" With tears rolling down my cheeks I said, "Because Heaven gained another Angel and Mommy wasn't ready to let her go!"

Her response was priceless. "Mom, (in such a grown up voice), it's okay. Jesus needed her!" Then she asked, "will she see my sister?"
I lost it! I truly believe that Children are a gift from God. How we raise them is our thanks to Him.

Today we start the 'celebration' of an amazing life of our sweet friend, Michelle. On one hand I am beyond sad and on the other I am full of gratefulness.

Anyone that knew her, had the honor to witness true grit, greatness, strength, humbleness, kindness and grace. She was a friend to many and an inspiration to all!

She loved everyone without expectations or conditions. Pure and beautiful! She taught me so much!

I don't understand why her life was so short but I know His plans are bigger than we can fathom. I just keep telling myself its because her impact was so great - she didn't need more time. (Jeremiah 29:11)

I cannot wait to hear all of the wonderful stories everyone has to share today of our Princess Warrior!

Continued prayers are appreciated for her husband and family!

Life is but one breath after another, of which the next is not guaranteed. But, friendships are a blessing that continue to flourish long after the breaths are gone.

I pray we all learn from Michelle that life is a journey of many blessings, more of giving and less taking!

Until we meet again.....

With a broken heart,
Candye~

An Angel Has Her Wings...

I woke up this morning praying yesterday was just a horrible dream. Sadly, it wasn't. I opened my Bible to try and find peace and comfort and felt led to go to my devotional book instead. And oh how fitting it was. Below is from my "JESUS ALWAYS" devotional book.

**************************************************************
LEARN TO LEAN ON ME more and more. I know the full extent of your weakness, and that is where My powerful Presence meets you! My strength and your weakness fit together perfectly -- in a wonderful synergy designed long before your birth.  Actually, My Power is most effective in weakness. This is counterintuitive and mysterious, yet it is true.
It's important to lean on Me when you're feeling inadequate or overwhelmed. Remind yourself that you and I together are more than adequate. To sense my nearness, try closing your hand as if you're holding onto Mine. For I take hold of your right hand and say to you, "Do not fear: I will help you."
I want you to depend on Me even when you feel competent to handle things yourself. This requires awareness of both My Presence an your neediness. I am infinitely wise, so let Me guide your thinking as you make plans and decisions. Learning on Me produces warm intimacy with Me -- the One who will never leave you or forsake you.
2 Corinthians 12:9; Philippians 4:13; Isaiah 41:13; Deuteronomy 31:6
**************************************************************

As I reflect on the above devotion, I think of how many times Michelle and I had conversations about the "Higher Power" and although we may have never fully understood the depth of His love, we were sure glad He didn't hold that against us.

I cannot even start to articulate how broken my heart is, along with thousands others. But, if you knew Michelle, you would understand -- there really is no need for a lot of words as she was a lady of action! She was a fighter! A Warrior! She fought a hard battle and did it with grace, style, and the utmost dignity! I am proud to call her my friend and sister... she was that to so many that knew her and it shows by the outpouring of love by so many. Although my heart breaks for her husband, David, her sisters and family, and the plethora of friends she leaves behind, I take peace knowing she's riding the best steed a girl could own in Heaven and turning 3 cans faster than you can blink an eye!

Although I am forever saddened by her absence here on earth, I will cherish the endless memories and love she leaves behind and the lessons she taught me about living life to the fullest and never settling for less! To say she was a fighter is an understatement. She never gave up -- right to the end! Just like her leggings read... "Never Quit!" πŸ’”

Rest In Peace, my sweet friend! You fought a long, hard battle and now the sky truly is the limits!

In Memory of our dearest and best friend in the world, Michelle Piha, a brave soul taken far too soon. Thank you for the laughs, the love, the lessons and so much more! I love you infinity!! πŸ’”❣️

How A Smile Changes Everything

Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile, but often your smile can be the source of your joy.

If you only realized the positive impact a simple sincere smile had on yourself and others, you'd do it more often.

Today, make it a challenge to smile more, to love like crazy, and never let your praying knees get lazy!

A Worry Box

There are two days you should never spend a lot of time thinking about – yesterday and tomorrow. Many of us are crucified with two thieves. On the right is yesterday, and on the left is tomorrow. He doesn't want us worrying about the past, and He certainly doesn't want us worrying about tomorrow. He says, "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:34)

There was a man who began to worry that he would get cancer because it had been prevalent in his family. He worried about it for 30 years and then suddenly died of a heart attack. My friend, worrying wastes your time. Not only that, it puts within you negative self-talk that can affect your choices and your actions. Should you be concerned about your health? Yes. Should you make efforts to eat wisely and exercise? Yes. Should you manage your money well? Yes. But to be bound to worry on these things will only prevent you from enjoying your health and blessings.

Jesus told us how to get rid of the worry that He forbids by changing our priorities. He says, "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:33) The problem with worry is that we are seeking the wrong things – we need to seek God and His kingdom and everything else will fall into place.

If you are prone to struggle with the stronghold of worry, I suggest that you make yourself a worry box by cutting a slot in the top of an old shoe-box. When Satan drives you to worry, write your worry down on a slip of paper. Talk to the Lord and tell Him what you have written down and that you believe He is able to take care of whatever worries you put in that box. You cannot handle them, but you know that He can. Then fold up your worry, drop it in the box, and leave it to the Lord. He promises to give you a peace that can only come from Him.

Will a worry box make your problems go away? Probably not. But what it will do is shift the weight of those problems off of you and back onto God. He is strong enough to carry that burden for you. Let Him.

Today, read these Verses: Matthew 11:28-30 and Psalm 56:3.

Learn To Love Yourself

Here's a little mid-day reminder for you!

When you feel like giving up, you are missing out on what God has to offer. There are so many things that demand our attention and while it may be good to leave behind unhealthy relationships, jobs, and habits, it's also important to keep fighting for what is good and right.

Never stop walking... the road you're traveling is for a purpose and part of your life-journey. You will never find it if you stop! So....KEEP GOING! πŸƒπŸΌ‍♀️Good things are ahead!!

"But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!"" (II Chronicles 15:7)

My Joy Comes From The Lord!

Never do we have so much joy in this world as when we are living in conformity to God's Word. Never. Like an engine firing on all cylinders; a gazelle running at full speed; or a symphony with every instrument pounding out the melody and harmonies in perfect tune and rhythm . . . when you're doing the things that God created you to do and told you to do in His Word, your life will begin to overflow with unprecedented joy.

This joy that comes to the human heart can't be experienced any other way than by rightly understanding the Bible. Jeremiah 15:16 says, "Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart".

I challenge you to turn off the television, silence the phone, and give the book God has written a chance to feed and fill your soul, like you never have before. God's Word will bring you joy. Guaranteed. #WakePraySlay

Pray For Vegas & My Safe Travels

Today's the day! I have mixed emotions as I'm finishing up packing to fly to Las Vegas today for our annual convention.

Despite the tragedy, I can't wait to see my family and hug them, and see my amazing R+F business partners; but I have to be honest - I'm sad and a little (okay, a lot) scared about the trip as a whole.

On a positive note, I know I will be with a group of fantastic men and women that will be pouring our love all over a city that is hurting so much.

Prayers appreciated for safe travels, trip, and safe return to my precious family!!

"Letting Go of The Good To Have Better"

One of the hardest things to realize in life is in order to get to where we want, sometimes we must let go of the good to grab hold of the better.

Living a better life begins with understanding this one key thought from Psalm 84: better is one day with God than thousands elsewhere. His ways are better than your ways. His love is better than life. His blessings are better than material possessions.

When you learn to surrender all to Him is when you gain more than your storehouse can hold!

Whatever you're holding onto today that's holding you back, I challenge you to let it go! Release it from your grip so you can grab onto what God really has designed for you!

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have an amazing day!!

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Never forget that you are the son or daughter of the almighty King of Kings and that you do not have to "BE" what the world expects you to be, but you do have to be what makes you happy! Do something kind today, be nice to others, and respect those you interact with. Strive to make a difference in others lives, but more importantly make a difference in your own life. Life is messy...thank God for Bounty paper towels, Grace & Mercy!

"Pretty words aren't always true...and true words aren't always pretty, but when the truth is spoken, it's always beautiful!"

"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

Make memories and make today count for today will never come again. GO! Be the awesome person God designed you to be! Have a blessed day!

Blessings,

The Ingredients for Success

"The Ingredient for Success"

A young entrepreneur approached a corporate leader after a seminar and asked, "I'm not very smart but I'm hardworking. Will I ever succeed?" Without blinking an eye, the expert said, "You will definitely succeed! You have three of the most important traits for success: hardworking, knowing what you don't know, and asking for help."

I must say I agree with that answer. Intelligence seems to be quite over-rated as an ingredient for success. In fact, intelligence can mean trouble for the young, because it can often make one lazy, over-confident and proud. The most successful people in any field are those who ask for help because they know what they do not know. And they work hard.

Don't get me wrong. I am all about hiring people that are well educated and smarter than I am. However, we cannot overlook those who have an attitude of gratitude and eagerness to learn. Be careful to not judge those without a degree without getting to know their story. You could be missing out on hiring a genius!

Same applies for judging yourself. Keep that in mind the next time you're tempted to doubt if you'll ever make it in a world where everybody seems to value degrees and titles above everything else. If you're willing to sow the seeds, you will reep a harvest. But, I caution you to be careful of the seeds you sow. Make sure they're worth the effort and you want them to reproduce. Nothing's worse then planting bad seeds.

"In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good."
‭‭(Ecclesiastes‬ ‭11:6‬)

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have an amazing day!!

Are Your Eyes On The Prize?

One of my all time favorite pics, "The Savage" and the story behind it. Horse on the left was in the lead, horse on the right was closing in the gap and starting to pass. Instead of the horse on the left putting forth more effort into gaining and keeping the lead, he reaches over and bites the horse on the right. Meanwhile the horse on the right has his ears laid back and his eye on the prize.

Moral of the story.. Never entertain foolishness. Have a purpose in life, Stay focused and never let others bring you down. Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit.

There is an old saying: a champion is someone who is willing to be uncomfortable & Rock bottom has built more champions than privilege. It's about hard work and drive.. Determination to keep pushing forward when others would love to see you fail. Winning isn't the score on the board, it's seeing something through to the end and congratulating your opponent. If you win through bad sportsmanship there is no real victory.

Favorite quote: "its not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward."- Rocky Balboa

P.S. The horse on the right won...

Failure Is Not An Option!

Good morning!! What an amazing day to be alive and breathing!!

Today's Tip: Hope is essential to life. Without it, life has no meaning, no purpose. God calls us to "cease striving" (Psalm 46:10), so that we can know Him and understand the hope of His calling (Ephesians 1:18). He wants us to quietly hope and wait on His promises for strength (Isaiah 40:31), for endurance (1 Corinthians 10:13), for peace (Romans 15:13), for salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:8), for eternal life in heaven (Titus 1:2)--for others as well as ourselves. Lastly, if God is within you, you will not fail (Psalm 46:5). Now believe these things and go make magic happen!

Whatever you may be going through just know that if you place your hope and faith in Jesus it's not a gamble, it's a sure bet that He will see you through. Never forget to pray about everything! And never give up Hope!

Today's Humor: Failure is not an option. It's bundled with your software.

Today's Scripture: "It's a good thing to quietly hope for the help from God." (Lamentations 3:26)

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given you!

Remember, as I've written before, if you take nothing else away from my blog - I pray you will never forget that you are "wonderfully and fearfully made" (Psalm 139:14). Being A Leader Is Tough.... Being A Great Leader Is Tougher!

Let's be honest. Being a great leader isn't always easy. Some days it's just downright tough to be an effective, inspiring, well-respected leader for yourself or your company.
The good news is you can become an awesome, actionable leader. When you learn that God places you in positions of leadership, not because you are necessarily capable, but because you are willing to submit yourself to Him and let Him guide your footsteps. That's the main key ingredient in the formula to becoming a successful leader.
My Daily Prayer:
Dear Lord, grow my love for you so I will trust in You when I can't see the path ahead clearly.
Help me not to say yes when no is the right answer. N
ever allow my plan to get ahead of — or in the place of — Your plan. Allow me to forgive easily, hold no grudges or bitterness, and live in and extend to others the grace You have provided to me. Provide me with courage and conviction to face my fears and critics and lead people to bigger realities of Your will than today. Grant me wisdom to make decisions big and small and conviction to follow You when it contradicts my desires or the demands of others. Help me guard my heart, overcome temptation, and keep my character and reputation above reproach. Give me patience with people, the pace of progress, and with things I can't understand. Help me communicate with clarity, consistency, and competence. Help me to love people and use my influence for the good of others and Your glory. In Jesus name, Amen.
#WakePraySlay #IAmSecond
Being a leader is tough! Being a great leader is tougher when you try to do it without the guidance of our Heavenly Father! The great news.... You don't have to! As scripture tells us, "Nothing is impossible with God!" (Luke 1:37)

Faithful Friday

Goooood morning peeps!! What an amazingly gorgeous morning we have!! Who's thankful it's Friday??

Today's Tip: We've all done it, said or done something we wish we could undo or take back, but we can't. Sometimes mistakes are very costly but if apologizing isn't enough then you have to let go. I've found sometimes forgiving yourself is harder than forgiving others. I'm learning just say you're sorry and move on; begging and pleading won't solve anything except make you feel worse when the silence is deafening - sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror, remind yourself you're human and make mistakes and move on. Then tell yourself, "chin up Buttercup, better days are coming!" The shortest distance between a problem and the solution is between your knees and the floor!

Today's Humor: Please stay calm and keep all arms, legs and head inside the week until we come to a complete stop on this Friday - then you may act up! 😁

Today's Scripture: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (‭1 John‬ ‭1:9‬)

Beep...Beep...You know what to do.... GO! Have an awesome day and never forget just how amazing you are!! Have a Blessed day!

"Happy Feets!"

This is too good to not share....

When I was dressing my daughter this morning I noticed (what appeared to be) writing on the back of her shoes and I did not recall seeing that before. So I look closer, and sure enough, it looks like "SMILEY FACES!"

So I asked her... Alexis, did you draw on your shoes?

The sweetest grin came across her face and she nodded her head 'yes!'

I couldn't help but smile as I asked her if they were smiley faces? She said 'yes!'

I asked her why and her response was priceless.....

"Because I want people to know I have Happy Feets!" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ€—

She definitely has her Momma's personality and sense of humor...although I don't think I've ever written on any shoes... πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Gosh I love her!! ♥️

#RaisingAWinnerπŸ‘‘ #CreativeMind

This child of mine is such a blessing!

She definitely keeps me young!

More importantly, this really got me to thinking this morning.

What would the world be like if we all drew smiley faces on the back of our feet?

Better yet....what would it be like if we drew them on our faces??

I have been trying so hard to teach her that it's wonderful to be your own unique person. That she is "ONE OF A KIND" and "VERY SPECIAL!" Because, to me and Jesus, she is!

What I realized this morning - I've been so busy "teaching" her, when in reality she's teaching me so much more! I am one blessed Momma! This made my whole heart smile today!

Give everyone you meet today you're very best smile and may your feet be HAPPY!!

Blessings,
Candye~

Storehouse Full Of Blessings

Good morning! Time to rise and sparkle!

Today's Tip: Just as God blessed the Israelites' back in the days of Moses, I firmly believe He wants to bless His children of today. We must remember we are a product of our thoughts and beliefs and it's time to take authority over your mind and claim the blessings God has in store for you! Changing your thoughts is half the battle in winning the war! I pray you have an amazingly blessed day FULL of grace & mercy!

Today's Humor: Stressed spelled backwards is Desserts.... Coincidence?? I think not! Have your cake today!

Today's Scripture: The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you." (Deut. 28:8)

GO! Have an amazingly, blessed day in the Lord! Let your light shine and never forget how AWESOME you are!!

Good News...

From the heart...its just one of those mornings! I admit it - I really want to crawl back in bed and pull the covers over my head! BUT! It's time to get up, get moving & make some serious memories today, peeps!! We've been given another chance!! Whoop! Whoop! That's something to be excited about!

Today's Tip: Life doesn't always turn out like you thought it would. Let's be real.... sometimes life just stinks! Things happen, people change and circumstances evolve, but I have good news! One thing always remains the same...his name is JESUS. Stop placing so much faith and stock in others. Put your faith in Him, knowing He is your constant in an ever-changing world, and you'll never have to worry or be disappointed again.

Today's Humor: The fact that jellyfish have survived for 650 million years despite having no brain should give hope to many people. 😳

Today's Scripture:  "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you." (Psalm 56:3)

The world is waiting for the awesome side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have a Wonderful Wednesday!!

Blessings,
Candye~

Love Your Enemy

Good morning beautiful peeps!! Time to rise and shine and give God the glory for a new day, a second chance! Smell that opportunity?

Today's Tip: Hug your haters! Yes, you read that correct! Let's be real, we all have those people that will judge you and find fault in the simple breath you take, but the way you overcome those issues is to 'love your enemy.'

I heard a wise man once say, "Don't wrestle with pigs. You both get dirty and the pigs enjoy it!" Oh how true that is!

Turn your heart to Jesus and rise above the nonsense. It's all around us, so don't add to the madness, but be different, be full of love and grace and mercy - just as our Heavenly Father extends to us daily. Be the one that prays for them, loves them and forgives them anyway!

Today's Scripture: "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you," (Luke‬ ‭6:27‬)

Today is a new beginning, a second chance! The world is waiting for the AWESOME side of you! GO! Enjoy this beautiful day the Lord has given and know that you are wonderfully, fearfully and beautifully made in His image!! Have a  wonderfully blessed day!!

Are You Ready For Financial Freedom?

I want to share something with each of you. I want you to read these words and look at this picture and then you decide if this a business opportunity for you.

❤️R+F is shifting the culture.

Please don't underestimate the power of empowered women and men using this business as a vehicle for change.

Social commerce is creating a paradigm shift.

As a Mom with a young child, I wish all careers and workplaces offered what you see here.

How rare is it to find a company that wants us to have opportunity for work life BALANCE and a chance for us to build legacy wealth?

Seize this opportunity and embrace this awesome shift!

Social commerce is giving women OPTIONS... options to bring in a sizable income capable of surpassing even the highest paid salaries in the typical job market...while never missing a moment.

No deliveries, no inventory, no party requirements, no sales quotas...which means Mommy gets to run her business from a smart phone while running her household simultaneously.

Pictured below is Ali Spitsbergan at a recent international R+F training in London.

Ali is a retired RN and Momma to 3 who now has the BEST of BOTH WORLDS.

She runs a highly successful R+F business, doesn't miss a moment and is even using this vehicle to build a mission training center that allows orphans to live off their own land with organic sustainable food sources...ALL because she is BLESSED by this amazing company.

This vehicle allows WOMEN to do more, be more and GIVE MORE.

We are SHIFTING CULTURE. You get a chance to be a part of it.

Contact me....I'll show you how.

Business Opportunity

#FREEDOMfriday

Hey FELLAS, listen up!

His wife said NO.
But, HE said ABSOLUTELY!

Meet Gabriel Sedlak. Husband, father, and our first MALE Million Dollar Circle Achiever! His wife was able to quit her job only 9 months after he started his business ...from her six-figure salary job in the mortgage industry, so they could spend more time together as a family. Here's what Gabriel had to say:

"I did not pray as many years as I did to meet the woman of my dreams, to then marry her, only to have to spend the next 30 years spending 60 to 70 hours a week away from her, working for someone else's dream. I did not have children with her only to have to put them in daycare and give my family emotional crumbs at the end of each day. That is not the 'American Dream'..."

Regardless of your background, experience, age, or even GENDER, ✨THIS✨ is a vehicle that can change. your. life. If Gabriel and thousands of others can work this business in their spare time . . .so can you. Ambition, drive and desiring something more is all that it takes.

Let's talk.
Also, here's a link to his story as well!
It's changing everything for so many of us!

Faith!

Happy Faithful Friday! Time to rise & shine!

It's time to put our faith into action & trust the word of God.

The Bible tells us that "For with God nothing will be impossible." (Luke 1:37) So why do we always get caught up on & in things we have absolutely no control over & allow it to consume us & become our god?

Do you trust that God is big enough to handle your problems?

Make a list of issues you are having difficulty with right now.

Pray over them, hand them over to God, & let go!

What better way to end a week than by releasing your burdens.

Have a Fabulous Friday & remember you are wonderfully and beautifully made in His image!!  #WakePraySlay
